Submissions now open, $1000 in awards for writers

The Paradise Anthology will be published in association with the Victorian Writers Centre and supported by the R.E. Ross Trust, City of Port Phillip and Salon Productions Australia. This project will be managed by writer Michael Crane.

The Paradise Anthology has been created to be a ‘paradise’ for writers. Michael and the Victorian Writers Centre know how hard it is for writers and artists to make money, or get recognition for their work.

The best poem, short story or artwork book selected by the editor Odette Snellen will receive $500 for each category. There is a reading fee for the Paradise Anthology of which all money will go towards paying writers who are published in the Anthology.

90 percent of the anthology will be for unsolicited work and 10 percent will be solicited material from leading Australian writers and established musicians who will provide song lyrics chosen by the editors
