Poetry IdolSt Kilda Public Library, 13th November 2007
In order of performance: A bit more of a casual event this time as the top poets from the Poetry Idol final at the Melbourne Writers Festival were able to perform some of their longer work or do a few poems in a row. I thought there was a reasonable turnout and people seemed to enjoy themselves. Odette and Sally also seemed to enjoy having a night off from judging. The next poetry idol contest should be a good one as it will be the last one for the year so it there will be a festive atmosphere. |
