I was sick last month so I missed a big month of poets as I have heard. With only three more heats to go to the final in August the competition heated up with flashy hats, flying underwear and people facing backwards.

I was surprised by the winners, as I wouldn't have been able to pick between them as the competition was too good.

The poetry in popular culture quiz was great again and very educational as I didn't know most of the answers.

The next heat is on the 1st of July and is sure to be a big one.
