POETRY IDOL PRESENTS FEATURE POET

Poetry Idol is now offering emerging poets the rare opportunity of a paid feature reading at the 2011 Melbourne Writers Festival.
Poets submit five poems and a shortlist of 20 poets will be invited to read at Audition Day in August.
The top 10, as chosen by the audience, will get a five minute paid reading and all of the shortlisted poets will have at least one poem published in the Paradise Anthology which they will be paid for.

Deadline - extended until 30th Sept, 2011
We are pleased to announce that we have secured enough funding to pay poets a minimum of $50 per poem accepted.
The funding does not cover printing costs so we are charging a $5 per poem admin fee.
Please submit a maximum of 5 poems.

THOSE WRITERS ACCEPTED WILL BE REQUIRED TO EMAIL POEMS TO EDITOR WITHIN 2 WEEKS OF NOTIFICATION.
