2009 Poetry Idol to be held at BMW Edge Theatre, Federation Square Sunday 30th August as part of the Melbourne Writers Festival: $2000 first prize, 2 x $500 runner up prizes and all heat winners to be published in Paradise Anthology. Winner will also receive a Chapbook contract from Picaro Press.
The Paradise Anthology is bought to you by the R.E. Ross Trust

We are pleased to announce that with the support of the City of Port Phillip that the Paradise Anthology will be published in 2008 as part of the St Kilda Festival. We will paying contributors approximately $20 per accepted piece which represents 100 percent of the money received from writers not the minimum 25 percent as previously advertised.
